You've seen the signs, the hesitation, the loss of confidence, the struggle to keep up. Sometimes it's obvious. Sometimes it's not. But as a parent, you can tell.
And sometimes nothing is "wrong", your child just needs the right support, early enough.
That's where Blooming Minds comes in, simplifying learning, building confidence, and creating a space where students feel safe to ask questions and truly understand what they're taught.
"Every child deserves a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and truly understanding."
Blooming Minds is led by Kemisola Olalekan, a tutor who has worked with both early learners and secondary students across different academic levels.
I started Blooming Minds because I kept seeing the same thing: bright, capable children holding back, not because they couldn't learn, but because no one had found the right way to reach them yet. My job is to find that way.
Whether your child needs extra guidance to catch up, or just the right push to stay ahead, every student is supported in a way that fits how they learn.
From early literacy and numeracy through to secondary academics, every student is met at the stage they're actually at.
From counting and number bonds to algebra and beyond, building the numerical confidence that carries through every year group.
Reading, writing, comprehension and grammar, helping students express their ideas with clarity and real confidence.
Making science feel less like memorisation and more like understanding, exploring concepts in a way that genuinely makes sense.
Gentle, age-appropriate sessions for young children, building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy through activities they enjoy.
Structured support for school assessments and entrance exams, building technique and going in prepared, not panicked.
For children who have switched off, gently rebuilding curiosity, engagement, and belief in their own ability to succeed.
We specialise in supporting students studying within British and internationally aligned curricula, particularly those following UK and Canadian academic standards.
This ensures each session aligns with what your child is expected to know, apply, and demonstrate in school, not a generic programme disconnected from their actual curriculum.
How Every Session Is Structured
No complicated onboarding. Just a clear, straightforward path to getting your child the support they need.
Send a message via email or WhatsApp. Tell me a little about your child, their age, subject, and what you've noticed. No forms, no fuss.
We start with a free introductory session to understand your child's learning style and where the gaps are. Zero commitment required.
Before regular sessions begin, I put together a simple learning plan, so both you and your child know exactly what we're working towards.
Live, focused 1-on-1 sessions online, with regular updates to parents so you can see progress as it happens, not just at the end of term.
What a Typical Session Looks Like
My son used to dread sitting down to do any schoolwork. After a few sessions with Kemisola, he actually started asking when his next lesson was. The change in attitude has been incredible.
What I appreciate most is how clearly Kemisola communicates with me. I always know what was covered, what needs work, and what's improving. It really does feel like a partnership.
My daughter had completely lost confidence in maths. Three months in, she's not just keeping up, she's putting her hand up in class. I only wish we'd started sooner.
Every plan includes personalised sessions, learning materials, and parent updates. No hidden fees.
